Actually, that headstock may be cool looking on another guitar.
The guitar is hideous. It's as if they took a V and a Moderne and threw them in a brick oven.

I had his first solo album and actually liked it, especially the songs Boyz R Gonna Rock and Back On The Streets.

I never did get the second album, but my ex-wife had it. I couldn't believe how much Mark Slaughter sounded exactly like Robert Fleishman. He needs to give him his voice back, then maybe Journey will take him back since Steve Perry won't come back! :ROTF:

                        I got both Joe..I don't know why..

Nostalgia I guess..the first one is much better, for the guitars really. The second was a lame follow up , and I never did like Slaughter..they got a goof Freddy Crueger video out of it..yaaaaayyy, we're just like Dokken!!

LOL I was never a Slaughter fan either... well, maybe the real Slaughter (Canadian thrash metal band) that was around in the '80s before Mark and his clowns. :ROTF:

I got dragged along to see them live, I think in the late '90s some time, with Poison, Cinderella and Dokken. I only went to see Dokken (Reb Beach kicked ass), and Cinderella was cool. My ex-wife was the Slaughter fan.

That guitar looks like a 9th grader made it in his shop class. I used to think VV was semi-cool back in the day, but I soon realized that he was just an opportunist.

I just got the remastered CD version of the first album, Vinnie Vincent Invasion. It may have the best sound of ANYTHING I have ever heard. It is brilliant. The remastered sound beats any CD out there. You guys don't know what you are missing. I will put it's metal guitar sound up against anything. Back on the Streets sounds incredible.
