That looks cool I opted for a satin on the neck as opposed to gloos for my last Ran...

Just got word from Ron, the guitar is finished and will be shipping on Tuesday!!! It's coming from California, I'm in Vegas so it should be here by Thursday or Friday!!! The only thing is I went with a Schaller Floyd instead of an OFR. He had the black Schaller from someone who pulled a no pay and asked if I wanted to wait a week for the OFR or use the Schaller. I opted for the Schaller.

He is sending more pics tomorrow before packing and he is using FedEx since he's had bad luck (just like everyone else) with UPS and USPS.

You won't be disappointed with the Schaller. They are solid units.

was the route for an OFR? the schaller and the OFR do not have the same location points; from what i remember offhand, the schaller needs to be placed 1/16" closer to the neck than the OFR does.

To be honest, I am not sure, I will have to ask him. I am hoping/praying/assuming that if that is the case he knows it.

Assuming this professional luthier did not realize that couldn't the saddles of the Schaller Floyd be moved 1/16th of an inch to compensate for intonation?

Talked to Ron and Warmoth about this, they both said if it was routed for the Schaller an OFR would not fit but if it's routed for a Floyd the Schaller will work, something about the length that I didn't pay attention to after they said it would be fine.
