  • My new hot rod Tele

My custom ordered GMW Tele arrived yesterday and I couldn't be happier. For this project I was going for a Gretsch vibe (hence orange and binding) but employing my favoite body shape (Tele). I also went for comfort and the body has a drop top and a tummy cut.

Here she is next to my Gretsch

and next to my relic Tele

I think the headstock works, it helps clue in that this is a definite custom, not a frankenstiened tele. I like the look of the fretboard, too.
It needs a name...but I'm not good in that department. The trem says
shred, but the body shape says twang.
