Shitty tele

There was a guy in Beattyville Ky about 80 miles away from where I live that built strat and tele clones for years some good and some very bad but I landed one of his early "good"ones today at a local pawn shop.
Big chunky neck 1 piece alder body 50's two tone tobacco burst.
Kluson vintage tuners and some sweet pickups.
Bridge is screwed so I will find a new one Sat and age it to look like the rest of this beat to shit tele.
I got for a Fett price too $75.00 out the door.
BTW it weighs a whopping 11 lbs.

I met the old guy several years ago and he had one hell of a shop.He built flat top acoustic guitars primarily for people like John Michael Montgomery and some other country players.
Bought an old 60's fender mustang case from him for $40.00.
Well I'm off to find a bridge.

Well shitty tele got torn apart today cleaned up,frets crowned new bridge saddle(1).Set up done and all that is left to do is get an RS upgrade kit Monday and its done.Plays great and sounds OK as is but needs a kit.
The guy that built these died 4 months ago. Hank Clubb was his name and had been building strats and tele clones for 40 + years.A real nice guy too.

Choose picture... Upload it to online photoalbum..(photobucket is a good one)

Once its "In" your photobucket album... choose the last (4th one down)
IMG' Link and right click..choose "Copy" or Cut"... then when you get
back here, and your posting and typing something in this paragraph area..
Right click again...but choose "Paste" this time.
And your pics will show!

Well ye old shitty tele got an rsguitarworks pot upgrade kit today.
280k super pot for the vol and a250k for the tone and an rsguitarcap(.047).
The old pots were 500k and in sad shape.
Now it sounds like a tele should crystal clear clean tone.The neck was dark and muddy now it has all the clarity if a single coil.The bridge is way spanky now and clear as a bell.Man what a difference!!! as always.
