I had a 1999 Collectors and to tell you the truth I could never warm up to it. Not to mention the neck binding started to crack like a year after owning it.

I've always felt there are way too many good acoustics made out of real wood to be played so I never really dug these at all. Even us skinny guys can have problems with that rounded back. Pain in the ass...I'm angry because you're stupidComment

I weigh around 300lbs and I love my Celebrity Deluxe. I keep it secured with my forearm, no problems with it sliding.
