What Gibson would you prefer?

Hm. Well, I've never played a guitar with the Gibson ceramic setup. I think I'll wait to find a white Explorer, though; the ebony fretboard's a big plus on those.

I like the look of that SG, never seen one of those Firebrand things. The Explorer looks great too though, as they always do.
Personal taste eh? I'd probably go for the Explorer, just cos it's a bit different.

Explorer. Dont even considere the firebrand. You can get those for a couple hundred bucks if ya really want one. The Explorer used would be about 700 so no brainer there. EXPLORER plus its a coller guitar. Or get both and send me the SG. lol

I would go for the explorer... get a new scratchplate on it and change the controllayout and you got yourself a great guitar.
