You can find one for under $200.
Great guitar for the money IMO.
I had one and really liked it. The only issue I've noticed though is fretwork is a bit inconsistent, but they are very nice playing guitars. However the neck is a bit chunky on them, so I dunno if that would be an issue.

hatchet and some companies dont usually make these
so if she loses interest in guitar,i'll have myself a hatchet
