I did my research. It's a RX170. Just for kicks, I went to the Jemsite and hit their forum for a look-see. They don't have a very high opinion of the RX-Series.:ROTF: It was less than $80.

Ron didn't like the Jackson I bought. He thought I overpaid. Well, I have news for him. The neck on that guitar is the best Jackson neck I have ever felt. You can't please them all. And why bother?

They don't have a high regard for the ex series either. I bought oneto part out and TRY to make a little money. The pickups sounded really good alot better then the powersounds and the trem was made by the same company that made the good JT 580s back in the mid 90's. I don't get it either fett.

You don't know fett. My size 15 sneakers average around $7 a pair. I'm wearing a nice pair of Reeboks that cost less than $5.

                  Nice!

I've got a RG170 that was my first guitar. Not sure how it compares, but the action is fucking awesome and the pickups kick ass. If it had a smoother edge to the fretboard like binding or something it would be perfect.

It could be plywood. Or, it could be solid. Time will tell.

The catalogs says RX's are hardwood. Whatever that means.
If you know let me in on it because my usa made peavey patriot is "hardwood" too.:ROTF:

It's the same reason people here don't like Charvettes...

Yeah. The bod may be plywood or not. But the maple neck probably could just have been used on a RG. Or, maybe, a sloppy second.:ROTF:

I wouldn't mind snagging an Ibeenhad but that one doesn't do anything for me. I would have saved my money for hardware on another guitar. Sorry, just my 2 cents.
                              Just one more guitar!
