I got an older one of those RX models for my son for like $45. It's actually pretty nice. A couple of small changes (strings, tuners, etc) and it would rock!

Because of the silly price you paid, you can't use the "I-been-had" phrase should the guitar fall apart
          Fuck ebay, fuck paypal

In spite of the tape on my mouth, I must chime in.

If you blindfolded most guitar players and put something in their hands and made them play... and mixed it up... a few different brands, price ranges, I think the results would be STUNNING.
When I think about this kind of thing, I always remember what the guy who started Boston Accoustics said.
"It's no trick to make a great sounding set of speakers for $2,000, the trick is to make a great sounding set for $250."
This was just after he kicked everyone's ass in a "behind the curtain sound test" with some of the most highly paid audio journalists of the time.
I still have my $250 B.A. speakers, buy the way, hmmmm let's see... some 20 years later? And they still sound great.
Leave the brand/image stuff at the door, just play.
Music never has, or ever will be about yuppie prestige.
            It's about music!

            Nice score Fett.

            Peace!

"Wow,... that was some of the hardest rockin ever. Hardest to listen too."

Well, I got the guitar. Remember what I said about "Sloppy Seconds" necks? The overall neck is fine. Once the bleeding stops, I'll file down the fret ends.:ROTF: It's Korean from 2000 and it has a solid body.
I am a true ass set to this board.

Well, when they are sharp/hang off the end like that, at least you know you have metal to work with right?

                  Good luck with it!!!
