aren't the wee little ones great, i have a 3 year old little girl named stephanie and she is the light of my life. she can't seem to keep her hands off my mockingbird, so i think mommy and i are going to buy her a mini guitar soon. we were at the local gc a while back and i saw an epiphone called a "pee wee" model les paul and it has an amp and some other goodies with it. it is what they call a travel guitar but it fits her perfectly.i figure if i buy her a real guitar then i can throw her plastic toy elmo guitar out the window.

No,but you see them turn up on Ebay quite regularly, usually from Germany,I think there is one on Ebay right now

They have a built in amp, powered by a 9v battery and even have a working truss rod!

              Wow, great thread.
My daughter kept taking my pick and saying "My turn, Daddy" so I bought her her own. When I took this first pic of us, she had said, "Show me how to do the fingers, Daddy"

And of course, she knows how to throw up the horns:

Yes, they do! When I gave it to her, she started calling it her "little girl guitar". I was tuning it for her and she told my dad "My daddy took it away!"

If she's still interested in playing through this year, I plan on getting her an actual acoustic that's about that size.

Great work Dads! The world needs more girl guitarists. I keep trying to come up with a way to clone Allison Robertson so she can........... join my band
