          Thanks. Some one told me it's a 40's or 50's guitar, as you can see it needs a little work.

            Have you entered the serial # into the search at the Gibson site? They have a specific serial search there, though it's not 100% foolproof. It's a start though...

                Like your Les Paul. I'm a fan of the Epi range, having a couple myself including a Black Beauty and it really is a beauty in every way.

                The Ovation looks cool too - I don't have an acoustic but if I did I'd want one like that!
