Anyone ever "hot rod" a mini strat?

I may be able to pick up one of these fairly cheap. They seem kind of fun to play around with and was just wondering if anyone has modded one. I haven't had a chance yet to measure the pickups, etc to see if they're replaceable. Could be a fun little twanger!

The 11 year old I did for has moved and I didn't take any pics.
I installed a Duncan Distortion and an rsguitarworks 500k super pot.installed an old shorter Kahler locking nut worked out great too.
The old short Kahler nuts fit just right on a strat neck after you route the nut ledge.You will need to grind a little of the nut on the side that butts up to the fingerboard.

Did the floyd fit on the body without any problem? I was looking at mine and the body looks a little thin
