  • am I an old guy if I like this? Edwards 335

While looking at Edwards LPC's on ebay I came across this 335 that I think is kick-ass

I'm starting to think I'm old now :ROTF: I already don't like pointy/graphics anymore and lean towards trans finishes now I like this thing lol

anyone here shred on a 335?

EVH swears he can shred on a 335 better than any other guitar...

But to answer your question, yes, it makes you old...

    Kidding, of course...

    335's kick ass...
    I'm angry because you're stupid

If you played one, I'm sure you would think they kick ass...

Yeah, the looks are more classy than kick ass. The kick ass part comes from the tone of a good one. Something about their tone that's pretty sweet...

All this talk about guitars makes me want to go to GC and try some different things out. Plus, I want to go see if they have any USA's there (Jackson).

Plenty of young punk rock dudes playing 335's.

I love 335 but I am digging more of 355 which has block inlays and Ebony fingerboard.
                  I want one with Bigsby.

I've had 3-335 ,2-345 & 1-355 Varitone aren't that great if you can get a 355 without one they're the ones to get.

                      Short answer: No, you're not.
Nugent rocked on Byrdlands, what more evidence does one need?
(I think his PRS tone sucked, btw).

A guy at work brought one of those in last week. Looked real nice. I didn't check the year, but it looked like my '77 LP Custom, only bigger LOL!

Shawn, yes and gay too. Whatever it is that's going on in your life you need to address it quickly, so this kind of thinking doesn't lead to something more sinister. Like buying an Gretsch or something.

                          I love 335's - after the V & Explorer, my favorite Gibson.

Everyone gets old, but that guitar is a good one. I like the Trini Lopez inspired DG 335.

Cygnus makes a good point about Nugent. Be like Nuge and forget about what anyone else thinks and play whatever.
