    Probably the body/neck bindings.

Quick answer, Studios have no binding...

Studios have decal logos, Standards and Customs are inlayed...

Les Paul Customs come from the Custom Shop. Standards and Studios do not...

      All are full of holes...

Studios are pretty sweet, for the cash...
      I'm angry because you're stupid

Some (not all) studios have rosewood boards instead of ebony, too.

White Studios have ebony, the rest are rosewood IIRC.

Cosmetics aside the main difference I found between the Studio and Standard that I had was the body thickness. The Studio was noticeable thinner in the body. Didn't sound quite as fat as the Std, sorta veered slightly towards a mix with SG sonic territory. The thin body also resulted in a slightly less blocky neck joint, which was a good thing.

Unfortunately I need all the cosmetics

The body thickness was what I notice to be the difference. I can live with some of the cosmetics of... but for me a Les Paul has to me thick!

BTW, what guitar hero played with a Studio?

              A poor one?

Actually, Jeff Waters used to play Studios 5-6 years ago.
