Today I bought the body and neck of an Ibanez GAXB bass which is a medium scale one pickup bass that recalls Eighties basses like the Aria Cardinal and the Westone Thunder bass.

It had a large chip on the bottom of the body and came without any parts. So I figured to patch it up with parts I had lying around. And it ended up looking like this...

The bridge comes from a Guild Starfire bass, it has three different kinds of tuners, flaked brass pot knobs coming from a Westone bass, the pickup is an active Magnetics P-bass pickups and the electronics are from EMG.
It sounds really good though, way better than any new GAXB I ever played.
