The Kramer is worth alot more than the Strat. Also... that Kahler is useless for divebombing or even mild use without a locking nut.

I don't use trems guys! Seriously... almost never. I like Floyds, can set them up like the best of them, but I don't use trems.

I'm getting close to 350USD with the Strat too.

KEEP THE KRAMER. or send the Kramer to me and buy the strat if you gotta have it. I would take almost anyKramer over a strat with a kahler any day.
lets way the options shall we?
                Kramer strat

real OFR after market kahler w/o the lock nut. tuning issues

Those are just the obviouse ones. But yeah keep the Kramer

You may need some KY jelly.Oh be sure you bend over far enough cause he is going to screw you big time. IMO.
As much as I might WANT a guitar I refuse to get screwed in the deal.

Guys, if I sell the Kramer I'd get 600 euros tops for it. That's basically a Mexican Strat around here. So I'd basically be trading for a guitar BETTER than a Mexican one (IF I prefer it), AND get some money which will allow me to buy yet another good strat...
This is Europe remember that. People don't know much about guitars here, much less Kramers.

And I want a Strat. I'm not a shredder and don't plan on being one. I just play a lot better on Strats I guess.

Sell the kramer, perhaps on ebay or something?

And also, if i wanted a nice classic strat, i would prefer a vintage trem if i ain't gonna use it anyway.

So just take the 600 euros, here in sweden that would get me a nice japanese strat or a used highway 1 anyway.

Yeah that's what he offered; either the trade + 250 euros either 600 euros. I can't put it on ebay, can't ship it anyway. I'll take the trade only if I REALLY love the Strat, especially as I'm planning on buying a Classic Player 50s strat.

The E series are the best deal in strats. just in the last year the demand as really jumped, along with the price. Just like the Charvel model series which is no longer the best keeped secret in guitars. Still a bargain though.
...that taste like tart, lemon yogart

Kalhers are good trems for people who dont really use trems because playing style rarely affects them (unlike a floyd which will have a tendecy to go sharp when some people play with their hand on the bridge). That said, that jap fender may look cool, but I would expect that u are buying a headache which you will need to then put money into for it to play properly as kalhers, particularly aftermarket ones, can cause tuning issues (and i say this based on experience). One possible solution is locking tuners, which should help since you are not a big trem user.

One thing I will say is I dont know anything about the guitar scene in Europe, but based on what you are saying, then why do you think this guy is willing to give up a "better" guitar for a less desireable one. Think about it.
"I''ll say what I'm gonna say, cuz I'm going to Hell anyway!"

Why don't you head over to the Kramer Forum and ask if anybody is interested in buying or trading with you. There are most likely a few guys that are in your area that would be interested in your guitar. Is yours an Archtop or a flattop?
                              Damn, I love this Interweb.

The logical thing to do (IMO of course) Is to sell the kramer, and use the 600 for the strat. The 50s player strat costs just about 600 at thomann i think, so you would break even and get the guitar that you really want.
