  • 72 Thinline Fender Telecasters?

Going to be getting a Tele and i`m very interested in these. Seen a couple in GC the other day and they looked VERY nice but didn`t get to plug one in. (i`ll have to go back!) Like to hear some opinions from owners or anyone who may have experience with em. Thanks!!!!

Just tried out a couple of 72 Thinlines at GC and i`m VERY impressed!!!!! Excellent quality guitar from top to bottom and i was actually amazed at how good the pups sounded. Cleans were fantastic and when i hit the OD on the amp i was FLOORED! These things sounded better for metal then alot of so called metal/shred guitars out there! Some of these MIM Fenders are really getting close to the MIA`s in overall quality imo and right after the holidays are over,i`ll be picking one of these babies up!

I thought they were Korean. Are they MIM?
      I wish my hair-color was EDS :/

they are mexican...i think the quality compares favorably to the old ones from the 70s. I dig them.

I had 2 72 reissues. Excellent guitars and virtually impossible to tell the difference between an import and the originals.
