I think toejam has the right idea. I noticed on this page: Carvin woods that they have an entry for maple under both "optional body woods" and "optional top body woods".

That might suggest that Carvin still does all-maple bodies on a custom basis.

Buyer beware but you might also be able to find some all-maple body guitars on eBay and places like gbase. You could even try a "want to buy" sort of ad here on the forum.
Takeoffs are optional but landings are mandatory.

Cool. I guess they've finally updated some things on their site. But the DC145 is H/S/H. You'd want a DC135 for the H/S/S.

I have a mutt that is maple. I "think" the body might be a JB Player. It came with an Aria Pro II neck, but the body horns are not like any Aria I've seen.

The body is sort of stripped. I wanted to see if it was solid maple - it wasn't - butcher block of about 4 pieces, with a maple veneer on top (to hide the seem lines - something Jackson should do).

The body is a Kahler Pro route, with dual hums.

I bought it in the 80's (85-86) used, so it's been around the block.

Aside from those killer BC Rich Mockingbirds I'd say the best way would to just get a body made by Slash, Musikraft, USAGC, Warmoth etc.
