  • Anyone else has troubles with ESP??

Im talking about the ORDER DELAYS, not the axes themselves

I have ordered a ESP LTD AX 400 on August 10th and still waiting for it

    No news

    Nothing

Im even more pissed cuz it took only TWO MONTHS for my Jackson custom shop to arrive and more than 4 months for a LTD which is not even hand made???

I talked to some people on ESP forum and I think Im not being unlucky and that ESP / LTD simply have BIG troubles regarding the order delays

What bugs me even more is that Ive been told MAXIMUM 40 days in the first place

if they often have such order delays at least the customer should be informed in the first place

When I ordered my LTD it took 4 weeks, but that was some time ago. The case for it took 9 (!!!) months to get here

      Maybe this is the reason:
      "Obsolete" : http://www.instrumentpro.com/P-ESPAX...25&PID=2534338

      "No longer available" : http://www.zzounds.com/item--ESPAX400

But then theres maybe some hope, "available 1-14-08" : http://www.musiciansfriend.com/produ...2&src=3SOSWXXA

Don't feel too bad, I ordered a PRS Paul Allender early July, apparently it was ready to ship 11/30, but my credit card was full 5 months later when they tried to charge it, so instead of calling me for another card they just cancelled my order. I have re-ordered and I might get one in February if I'm lucky.

Do people really special order LTD's? Sam Ash stocks massive piles of those things.

it took 2 months for Jackson to build your Custom? Or it took 2 months for the dealer to get the Custom you picked from their inventory to you?

Is your new LTD coming directly from ESP to you? If there's a delay in a dealer delivery you an axe, that's not the guitar company. Maybe you should rant about whoever it is you're buying the guitar from, rather than the guitar maker

I think you nailed it, G. If this guy is from anywhere near where I live he won't see a USA Select in any stores; a custom shop - forget it. Having ordered a few USA Select guitars, from my local dealer, I can tell you it once took four months to get the Soloist I wanted...and the thing was in inventory at Texas distribution.

Nova, give your dealer shit for under estimating the delivery time - this is their problem, not ESPs.

I ordered an ESP M1-NTB back in March. It was supposed to take about 2 months. After 5 months of waiting I cancelled the order. I don't know that I can completely blame ESP though because I suspect the dealer screwed up as well.
