Neat guitar for $200! Sully was right on being sceptical of a masonite and plywood guitar. This guitar sounds like a dream, sort of like a Tele Thinline with it's own funky tone. The setup was great out of the box, although no case is included with these. The intonation was dead on and adjustable. The pickups are reportably upgraded from previous versions and they do sound great. The bridge PUP sounds a little weak, so I'll drop a SD Lipstick in just to see if there is any difference. The tuners are not bad and look great in the satin finish. The backlash and gear ratio is a little sloppy, but expected from a diecast tuner, most likely from China as well. The nut is aluminum and the wound strings want to hang up on there. I put a call into Graptech and they are sending me a blank to make a String Saver nut from. The nut is so big, they are sending me a saddle blank. The finish is satin black and is excellent. Fit and finish is excellent as well, which really surprised me. Great guitar for the money. Now off to do some Page stuff
The nut is held on by a screw I put some nut sauce in the grooves to help out gliding over the aluminum.
Sorry for the pics being so large. Something is wrong with Photobucket. It's not editing even though it say's it's edited.
Oh, the pics fixed themselves:ROTF:
