And I know nothing about them, other than the fact that they were made in Neptune NJ which is right where I grew up.
In the window for $400, guy gave it to me for $250. Said it was sitting there for a month and he was shocked that nobody grabbed it. I am in there all the time so he quoted me his "last day of the years" special. Totally original, as far as he knows- guy came in with it wanting to learn jazz- it was in his parent's basement. Body was great, but everything metal had corroded. Traded it for something more suited to his style.
Guy that owns the music store is a luthier and cleaned it up. Looks beautiful. OFR. Unsure what the pup is and haven't tried her yet (will update). Coil tap. In wonderful shape, like it was barely ever played.
Can anyone tell me about these? It's a USA, or at least that's what the neck plate is, and the story makes it unlikely that it was messed with (the guy that owns the shop is a straight shooter in all other areas I've dealt with him in).
