Anyone know what the peavey patriot's body wood was? the manual says hand selected hardwood. I usually think hardwood as a nice way of saying plywood, but the hand selected throws me.

If the one you have has Kluson-type tuners it should be a 3 piece bod.

Maple or ash? I was reading the HC reviews on the Pat and there seems to have been different versions over the years. Take the neck off and see what you can see.
