What are the neckthru ones worth approx? I have the opportunity to pick up one locally for $100. It needs a new saddle, and a few other things... Id fix it up and probably sell it. Good deal or pass?

I have a couple and I paid under $200 on ebay. I'd snag it for $100. I like mine and you might just decide to keep it if you get it.

If you want it to play it, it's a good deal. If you think you're going to make money by fixing it and selling it, you probably won't. $200 is TOP dollar for these guitars. I bought one a couple years ago for $100 and when I recently sold it I only got $149 for it, and it was in near-mint condition.

So if you really need to make $40 or $50 at most, snag it for that. It's better bought to play than to sell though.

They ARE great players, though. I'd scoop it up for $100, and keep it.
