2002 Fender Stratocaster FSR (Factory Special Run)

The guitar arrived today and I am blown away. It looks, sounds and plays like a dream. It has Bill Lawrence pickups and "point to point" shielded wiring. The flame maple top is beautiful. This was a great find. This is a "factory special run" of only 250 made.

I tuned it up and could not put it down. It has been rewired so that the the highs are not cut when you roll the volume back. I never knew how great that modification is on a strat until now.

I will be honest, I am not sure how it is wired but when you roll back the volume the highs are not cut at all. Sounds awesome.

Does the hipass mod change the sound when the volume is on full? I might give that mod a try with my partsocaster that i'm hopefully fininsing in a couple of weeks.

Nope. Doesn't change the sound at full volume at all...
