I had a beautiful Ash custom but sold it. Just could not bond with it for some reason.
Neck was a bit skinny and a bit thin - not bad but not as substantial as I like my necks.

I found Ash not to be the greatest of woods in a high gain environment. My fault for choosing it as a wood. I was not impressed by the Rio Grande pups in it. If I would have kept it I would have switched them out.

The irritating thing is behind the string tree they had this second metal piece that each string had to go through it's own hole. So you had to run a string across the nut, under the string tree and then through a hole. Made changing the strings real time consuming.

But they are definitely high quality guitars.
