The way I see it is most of the time the people who try to convince you that "budget" models are just as good as the "better" models do so because they can't afford the high dollar one and they need to convince themselves that it's the better guitar. So they can live with themselves easier...

Is a Studio as good as a Standard or Custom? I don't know. I do know that they are over a grand cheaper. I don't think that binding alone costs a grand...
