The sword...huh! I like that Yogi Bear picture better!!!!
Guitars:
Charvel: USA Pro Mod Slime Green
1988 Model 2,
Jackson: Dinky HSS 'Blue/Orange Flame'
RR3
Gibson: 1978 Les Paul Spl Dbl Cut
1992 LP Studio 'Lite'
2005 SG Special
Never mess with Robert while you are around his guitars. Ask politely if you must to touch one of his guitars, or he may use the sword on you! Congrats to you, on the guitar. Hippietim always has something interesting and unique!
Tone is like Art: Your opinion is valid. Listen, learn, have fun, draw your own conclusions.
Dude, is that a real nihonto or a copy you bought from internet or some kinda shop? and is it suitable for full contact use?
Of course, I'm talkin' about the sword.
********* Middle of the road... "Paul Chen"... Traditional clay method..
Tsuka is real Rayskin... and Tsuka ito is expensive fine cotton with nice
"Hada" in the blade! (excuse us while we speak Budo here...non guitar
talk!) Anyway, its an older Paul Chen..i think it cost me $530 in
1999 so its probably about an $800 sword now. Someday...i do want
to pick up one of those $3K battle Iaito's! But then thats a new Charvel too...so which to choose?
BTW, the guitar's a very false clone. It has 22 frets
I doubt too that eddie's original had a perfect glass coated neck, with
multi shades of red, and soft relicing in the paint either! I'll tell you,
Lee Garver does amazing work!
Also with that extra fret...since i tune down the Eb it lets me equal the range that EVH had
but i have more bottom! LOL Truly this one is way nicer than the FMIC
imo..(which i have NOT played, but i did spend about 5 minutes within 1 ft. of one, and could tell it was ok quality...but more like $899.00 not
the $25K they want! If the EVH FMIC is worth $25K then this GMW is worth $35K!
