Not a Gibby, but a nice looking instrument for a nice price.
that does look pretty nice....
too bad the epi's are so hit or miss on quality.
is this one korean made or indonesian?
Not sure. I really like the finish. I normally hate gold hardware, but it looks good with that finish.
I just realized why I like it so much. It's pretty much the same color as my Aria Pro II Les Paul. I thought it was called Iced Tea, but what do I know.
The other guitarist in my old band got one... it was pretty much junk. Played like shit, I would have had to level the frets just to get the action to my liking without buzzing.
Imagine, being able to be magically whisked away to... Delaware. Hi... Im in... Delaware...
My Epi Explorer had the worst fret work I've ever seen/felt. Sharp edges sticking out all the way up both sides. I cleaned it up and now it's great. But unbelievably bad to begin with.
please don't put it into words, 'cause I fear what you're thinking
Hmm, I thought Epiphone actually makes guitars in Indonesia now. These can be easily spotted by a serial number that begins with I. They could be making em in China too, of course. Pretty easy nowadays with CNC machinery, you just send over the CD with the guitar design and voila! You're carving guitars. But yeah, workmanship and wood quality can be suspect..

So many Gibsons have been made in China for a few years. A former student is the owner of Arion and has seen them first hand when they were building his Coral Sitar reissies. The Elitists are made here in Japan, but it was a limited run, was it not?
WTF?!? If you're gonna put a Kahler on it, why not put a proper flatmount on it instead of a retrofit stud mounted unit. What, are Gibson too fucking lazy to build it with the correct neck angle? What a joke, and what a stupid guitar!
