    So could Dean.
Hmmm, not too sure about that. What does a USA Deav V cost? What does a USA Hamer Vector cost?

I personally would choose a Vector over a Dean or Gibson any day of the week.
    Sleep!!, That's where I'm a viking!!

Because Jackson would slap Gibson with a "headstock" style of lawsuit

Yep, the Matthias Jabs model exactly, with a downsized body. Kinda ugly, IMO. I've got a V90 and an SG90, the X90 I don't really want.
please don't put it into words, 'cause I fear what you're thinking

But I can't help wondering which Chinese factory made it...
+1 again. Rumor is that Gibby is building a lot of their neck and body blanks in Asia, with assembly being done here.

Still, a very cool looking design. I could do without the beveled edges, but it's otherwise very cool. Love the inlays and logo.

P.S.- There's an Explorer version - same specs & finish - coming out later this year.

Body and headstock are huge, like a 58.

Paint on both my 90 models has a noticeable "step" or "ridge" along the fingerboard binding — I can deal with it, but it's annoying. I'm getting both re-painted eventually.

Fret access is great, but a Flying V 58 body style = neck heavy. I installed a 6" x 3/4" metal rod in the tip of the upper wing, so mine's not neck heavy anymore.

Useless Steinberger folding leg rest (which I removed). I don't find the "tummy" contour to make much sense on a V, either.

Somebody had already changed out the single humbucker in my V90 to an EMG-81 (and left the ground wire CONNECTED), which I replaced with an Iommi. I think the stock pickup was a Gibson HB-L, since that's what was in the bridge position of my SG90 (since replaced with a Rio Grande Crucnchbox, a Punchbox in the neck).
