Just got home with my Les Paul Vintage Mahogany. This is one of the most resonant LPs I've ever played. I own a LP Standard and I believe this one has it beat. I'm already starting some mods. Will post pictures soon

I put an RSguitarworks pot upgrade kit in mine rolled the edges of the fingerboard and its a monster player.Good score great bang for the buck.Really? well screw Mark Twain.Comment

Very cool! They're great players.
I got mine a few years ago, the worn cherry version, and I still dig it... though, I swapped the pickups out for EMGs (85 bridge and chrome 25th anniversary 81 in the neck).

thanks everyone. i'm still in the honeymoon phase, but i'm LOVING this guitar. It sound SOOO thick! Hey toejam, how do you like the EMGs in yours? One of the big selling points for me was the BB Pros (i love these PuPs), but I've always been an emg fan. I considered going with an 85b/60n at some point.Comment

The '57 Classics in a LP are my tone of reference and save a few bucks over the BB's.
