You saw it on three guitar forums because I'm a poster on those three forums and people respond differently on each one of those forums. I post the same message on different forums for that reason.

I'll eat my shoes and record it for youtube if this is a hoax. The pieces are still in my appartment at this moment.

So it "fell over" and by "falling over" sustained this kind of damage?

Who does he think he's fooling?

Anyway I'm not even gonna try repairing this.

Fell over the side of K 2 and hit every rock on the way down!

That guitar didnt "fall over". He smashed it ala Pete Townsend or any other stupid player who does that. I wouldnt waste my time on it. Its firewood now. You could get another one from ebay and then tell him you fixed it and charge him $500

                    Yep...it was Townsended!!!
My Duncan Designed pickups are way better than Seymour Duncan regular pickups you fanboy.

Yeah...too bad the forum doesn't have a minimum IQ.

Couple of things: I don't think that's a production model G400; they don't come with the big pickguard like that, only the bolt-neck Epis do and those have dot necks.

I remember someone posting a project awhile back that was broken. The guy was going to use a big pickguard to cover some damage. I wonder if this is the same guitar? It had come apart at the neck/body joint once already. He got it as a project since it was broken.

Second, I doubt he's gonna charge $500 to fix a $300 guitar. and it being his bass player, he is probably expecting a charity job anyway.

I already told our bassplayer that and he went "Fuck it, just take whatever is still usable from that guitar and put it into my (Epiphone) Emily the Strange."

Okay, so I'm batting .500! I was wrong about them making the model pictured above, but right that THIS guitar was a broken G4oo with small pickguard originally! I'll take a .500 rating!

So did the guy admit that he smashed it, or is he still saying it just "fell over"? He4's got to know that YOU know better, right?

He may not, he is a bass player after all.

In the future though I need to remember to not buy guitars while on Nyquil
