      Those P90's are worth $1500 a piece.My 2001 book says $5000 they were made from 52-59.
Gold was the only color offered. My guess is $10-15,000 in todays market it may be worth way more than that.
      Really? well screw Mark Twain.

I imagine it was a "Great, he's going to bust out a bolt on neck Venture ES-335 copy or a Teisco/Montgomery Ward Special."

        That's what I'd be expecting from a Grandmother's guitar.

That's a nice looking fiddle there....

I was reading the other day that gibsons have the largest inflation in value of all guitars. Im sure one of the first guitar magazines i ever bought about 9 years ago, had a review of the re-release of this guitar. And that was something like 4000GBP ($8000USD).

So my guess would be that $15k would not be unrealistic, if whoever, finds a good market for it.

That's easily a $20K+ guitar if everything is in order...I'll give you the $2900 if you want to split the profits

How the hell can you score this for so little coin?

I did some asking at the Cinci guitar show and the hollow bodied P 90 guitars don't bring a big price I saw 2 very close to that one and they were $6000.00 range with OHSC if close to mint shape.

Are you kidding me!? I just saw it on craigslist and shot the guy an email.

If its really that valuable, I'm sure the 2900 was a typo.

Most likely meant $29,000, or a its reissue, or a scam.

The guy says he's the original owner, has OHSC, no repairs ever, etc, etc. Not a reissue, but the other two are most likely. We'll see if he even replies to my email (he didn't leave a cell number).

Here's $20, leave it to me, I'll dispose of it for you, don't you worry about it.

Yeah, either that was a re-issue..(and he's asking $1K too much for it)
or it's really a typo, and it's $29K! Anything under $15K would be a steal!
