  • Proline GAS Continues...

This time, the porn is of a 2550 neck-through variety...

She's a bit more of a player than a museum piece (compared to the minty proline I bought from heartfielder last week), but that just means I'll leave it out of the case, and end up playing her more.
Due to arrive in a week or so... ahhhh sweet anticipation!
    hehe

I'm not at all familiar with Ibanez guitars... what're those things above the knobs?

        Ooh nice!
A coupla years ago I had the chance of a minty 2550, but I just couldn't cope with it being nail-varnish pink.

Oh man, I forgot about that one! 1970 GTO Palisade green! Paul, I damn near faked a fire in the paint booth, sent you the insurance money, and kept that one!

            Mark,
I'll know more when the guitar gets here, but if I ever did feel like making this one real pretty again... would you consider doing it for me?
Paul says nice things about your work, and so do the pics of the GTO axe.

Spike, here's one that Mark did for me awhile ago. I really have to get some outdoor shots of these.

                  Before:

                  After: (Chrysler/Dodge Viper Blue)

                    Dave,

I see you have a gold one in the stable now. Are you gonna make a nice pickguard for it like the one you made for mine ???

I've been playing these alot now that Spike has rekindled my interest in them.

Indeed, I couldn't believe that one went that cheap. I want one of these that I can do a different electronics setup in, so that one was perfect for me-

OK, so the PL2550 came today and....
                          (drumroll)
Damn is this a sweet wood-chopper!
                          Just amazing.
I won't go into comparisons with other brands.
Just very unique, very good quality, very tonally diverse, and the action/playability is second to NONE.
                          Yummy!
