  • Guitars I Made... [ 56K AOK ]

spent 1 Month studying with George Rizsanyi of Lado Guitars, Original Martin Master-builder and currently owner and founder or Rizsanyi Guitars.

In that month i made two electrics. I have all of the building pictures from starting off with giant planks of wood, to cutting the fret-slots, to banging in the frets, to hand-sanding everything...

let me know if you wan2 see them.

wow, amazing. i see you didn't put any inlays, those are really tough to do and take a lot of patience trying to cut your inlay design. but having no inlays really flows with the guitar.

                      That is some stunning work!
I've built one, just to get it under my belt...
But I ended up with something that looks like it was homebuilt.
                      Oh, well, great player, anyhow.

Again, those look droolworthy, and very shred-friendly.
The upper fret access that you built in look great, too.

I think I have to go and rob a bank so I can go on one of those courses!
                          Very inspiring.

The course was not expensive at all!

In total i think it was $4000USD, and that included housing for that month. I had to pay for pickups and hardware, but all the woods are supplied and paid for by him.

I am going to go back and do another.
