Ibanez's arctic frost finish

Wow I like it! I usually don't like custom finishes from Ibanez but this one is really cool. The red one looks like crimson swirl but the silver one is great!

I'd like to see an SL2H in that finish

The ones I've seen at my local GC did not look all that impressive. The Crimson Swirl RR they have looks better than the Ibanez silver.

Yeah. They have a very unnature look to them. For good or bad, at least Jackson swirls are all different form one another.

You're probably right but I'm so used to Jackson's finishes I'm looking for something new/different. And other brands do not have many finishes that I really dig, this one looks cool enough to me As I said it would look great on an Sl2h imo

Definitely try to see it in person. While it looks alright on the Ibanez site, in person it looks like a few silver paintballs were shot onto a glossy black. Not inspiring at all...

agreed, these look sharp but is it just me or wouldn't they look even sharper if the body had just one "burst" of frost from the center of the body rather than three?

The headstock looks perfect as far as the paint goes.

If it was me painting the guitar I'd go for a "glassy look" with a burst at one side and a crack going towards other side of the body, everywhere else would look like a glass
