seen both guitar finishes, side by side..literally!

They both look GOOD, but not great. Jackson Import swirl finishes are better, and the USA blows it out of the water.

I have a silver swirl KE2 and a CS DK2T, so I could do an almost direct comparison...so, I'm right.

Wow I like it! I usually don't like custom finishes from Ibanez but this one is really cool. The red one looks like crimson swirl but the silver one is great!

I'd like to see an SL2H in that finish

agreed, these look sharp but is it just me or wouldn't they look even sharper if the body had just one "burst" of frost from the center of the body rather than three?

actually I wouldn't like that finish no matter what guitar it was on.
it looks cheap and cheesey to me.

Definitely try to see it in person. While it looks alright on the Ibanez site, in person it looks like a few silver paintballs were shot onto a glossy black. Not inspiring at all...

** Right, and dull too.. Needs to be high gloss, like the website shows, but in person they are dull, and imo look like $250

I saw a red one hanging on the wall in a local mom and pop shop today. It definitely looked better in person.
