The COW looks like it broke along the grain as it should have.

Assumptions are the mother of all fuck ups... that's not its normal case. I slapped the already broken guitar in that one for the repairman to keep it in.

It never occurred to me to base my purchasing decisions on how I perceive the people who post about something on the internet. This makes no logical sense. If I was as stupid as you, I would sell all my Jacksons right now just out of spite, and then abandon my non-refundable deposit for my custom just out of principal.

Uhh, then who the fuck is Jackson's entire roster of endorsees? The rest of your post is just "blah blah blah" the entire argument could apply equally well to the Jackson. I've seen plenty of customs sell for less than 50% their original purchase price, the headstock looks like a 13 year old boy's wet dream, this guy has never advertised anywhere ever - all word of mouth - the last one on eBay sold for I think about 70% its original purchase price, etc
