Well, mine wasn't inspired by Vai's guitar or anything like that. Different specs and all - I was going for a different vibe. More of a hot rod'd '50s Strat thing, especially tone-wise.

I see what you mean, though. And, yeah, I've always loved the real Green Meanie, especially it's original sunburst version.

It's killer, dude. Lots of Green Meanies replicas out there, but you're the first I can remember doing the sunburst version. Sweetness and unique. Congrats again.

That's a really cool project. With all of the green meanies around, it's a nice to see something a little different that is Vai-related.

About the same time I built the Green Meanie version, I was thinking of doing this one. Both are great, but this one is a little more special since it's a very uncommon finish and equipment combination. This one was right behind in the building process.
