Thanks G.
Well, I took the Carvin pickup out, and put the Schaller back in the bridge position where it belongs.
Put the Rockinger Trem back into service, but with the string lock turned around the correct way as was suggested earlier.
Managed to get her tuned up, and cleaned/lubed a bit with my magic oil, and I'll be damned.
I can't get it to go out of tune.
I hear they break strings easy though, so I'll have to return and report if I start to see that.
the big gaping hole in the middle?
black magic marker (it was full of burn marks from the endmill anyhow, so now it just looks black.
I like it, since my pic is not bouncing off the middle pickup anymore.
It's basically dead stock now, except for the extra holes.
Me likey A LOT

So you took the middle pickup out?
That is a nice Kramer. I've heard good things about the Rockinger trem, never had one so I don't know if it's all hype or not. Doesn't sound like it if you can't get it to go out of tune. They are somewhat ugly though.
I do dig the finish.I'm angry because you're stupid

Yes, I put it back home (it's a bridge position Schaller) and left the Carvin pickup on the bench.
Thanks man... she sure plays nice... the Rockinger is no Floyd, but I must admit, it's built like a brick shithouse... solid brass, very beefy.
I just won an Elliot Easton neck off the bay for cheap money, so I'll be swapping my bananna headstock back on to the original body, and slapping the EE on the flip-flop pink body.
That will put me up to three Kramers, two stock imperials, one mutt.
This is getting to be a trend.
I must watch it.

I'm not sure... must dig around and find out.
They do pop up on e-bay regularly.
I bought a pair for 30 bucks a few months ago.
I've seen others go sky high on the price though.
Depends who's watchin'.
