  • I re-built my "Goblin" guitar

It went from looking like this...

    To looking like this...

Off went the Telecaster neck, the pickup is now has comes from an old Gibson les Paul custom and I installed the Washburn wonderbar I had on my selfbuilt SG earlier. Which is also why I replaced the neck, I wanted a neck with a headstock shape that fitted the style of the guitar better and because I'm planning to fit a top lock. The Bridge also makes the guitar easier to intonate.

Sorry, I liked it much better in its original form. The Wonderbar has to be the most hideous piece of hardware ever made.

That said, if it suits you better with the changes, then that's all that really matters.

I liked the clean look of the original version. The new version has more balls to it, the headstock fits it nicely. The wonderbar is huge though.

I think the headstock suits it a lot better, as for the other end it looks unbalanced to me, my eyes keep wanting to change the top at the rear and round it off a bit. But it's your guitar and if you like it, then fuck the rest of us eh!
Fwopping, you know you want to!

But it's still better than a Kahler!

You should get some kind of award for the WONDERBAR.
                  Excellent!
