      There we have it!!!
Not only he sucked as a guitar designer, but now we have confirmation that he indeed SUCKED!!!

There is a God somewhere. Dean "The Sucker" and Elliott "The ____ Beater" (allegedly).

            Wow
Peace, Love and Happieness and all that stuff...

I personally do not care how it was built as long as it is a good playing/sounding instrument.

Yes, there's a bee in the pudding.

Are you talking about Dime? If you are, you need to get your facts straight. Dime didn't do drugs.

I like to think he did, otherwise why in THE hell will he play such that compacted stash of manure with a fucked up headstock people call Deans?
He had to be on something....... seriously, it was like he was mind duped into playing them.

If not, I just lost a great deal of respect for him. He would have been better off playing Daisy Rock Flower guitars. I think they are fabulous.

Well, Dime was drunk a lot, and we all know what beer goggles can do.

Well, obviously a lot of people like them, or they wouldn't sell. I personally don't like the headstocks, but I like the ML shape. After all, it's just a half V/half Explorer combo. Actually, I shouldn't even say anything about the headstock because this is the headstock on my latest aquisition.

Hold the phone. I've read articles in different guitar magazines where Dime stated that he smoked pot. Oh wait, maybe he didn't inhale.
                              "POOP"

Is it such a stretch to believe that Dean really did appreciate Dime's contribution to their market success after spending decades as a company that did not have a "spokesperson"?

How is Dean's use of Dime any different than the Jackson/Rhoads relationship? Yes, the first Jackson was a Rhoads, but should Dean drop the Dime model in honor of his memory?

                                I think not.

And yes, Dime smoked pot - where do you think he got the name "Dimebag"? What, you thought it was a piggy bank?
