I don't know anything about Marlin guitars. Is the trem unique to the brand, or is it a generic Strat-like trem? The Guitars:
Jackson USA SL2H, Jackson Performer PS-4, Gibson Les Paul Studio Gothic, Ibanez JS-1000, B.C. Rich Mockingbird ST, Martin GPCPA5 Acoustic, 14 Warmoth customs, Ibanez Artcore AS73, Ibanez Prestige SR1000EFM Bass
The Amps:
Peavey JSX 212 with JSX 412 cabinet, Ampeg B2R with Ampeg Portaflex PF210HE cabinet

Your first step might be to take the trem block to Ace hardware and find extra long machine screws to find out what thread the trem arm should be. If it is newer it might just be a smooth shaft with a compression fit collar - like the newer gotohs. I would start with a #10-32 thread (common Fender size) and then try ones close to it. You might have to go to M4 or M5 Metric threads. Once you find the thread size or shaft diameter, you can probably find a replacement from stew-mac, allparts, WD, etc. If you are lucky you can find a guitar shop in your area that may have one that fits.

Thanks guys, but I live in Scotland so I can't take the guitar along to a decent parts shop too easy.
I believe the Marlin trems are bizarrely un-standard, so if you see a Marlin guitar it's almost invariable missing the trem arm, cos no one knows how to replace the bastards.
I'm not too bothered - I've set the thing up hard against the body so it won't move anyway. I just thought I'd ask, since it would look better if it had the trem arm there.

I saw the pic on your "pink" thread. That trem looks identical to the one on an old "Epiphone by Gibson" Strat copy I have (S300MBK/B). No trem arm on mine, either. The Guitars:

Those were fitted to just about all the "budget" guitars of the late '80s - Epi, Hohner, Aria etc, and were distributed by JHS. I forget the manufacturer.
I know that I did have one of those in bits in my toolbox at one time. I'll have a rummage next time I'm over at the parents' place. Thinking about it, I may have some pink knobs too....

What I don't understand is why all these guitars have lost their trem arms? I mean, where did they all go? Did they all end up in a parallel dimension or something? Sure, the odd one might have broke or whatever, but how the hell did so many of them get LOST? How can you lose a trem arm?!

One of lifes mysteries, I've been wrestling that demon for years, the amount of guitars you see on the 'bay with missing trem arms is staggering, they're not exactly small.

As for how they're lost, it's not like musicians ever get drunk or high, or play a gig with other bands where someone might lift yours because they already got drunk and lost theirs. That shit NEVER happens.... :ROTF:Ron is the MAN!!!!

That comment about the midget kickstand cracked me up!
I might have one kicking about somewhere at work in a spares box too. They sold hundreds of thousands of those fucking guitars, then all of a sudden they disappeared. I can't remember the last time I saw a Marlin. So I woke up,rolled over and who was lying next to me? Only Bonnie Langford!
I nearly broke her back
