Has anyone tried this pup in the bridge slot of a mahogany-bodied guitar like a Les Paul?

the old ones were pretty ok, the new ones suck"There is nothing more fearful than imagination without taste" - Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

Tom Delonge used Duncan Invaders for most of his career. Both are bland pickups with the older ones being slightly better than the new. Both are very muddy unless you have a midboost and are very careful with your EQ. They aren't bad pickups, but they're more trouble than they are often worth, like most super high output pickups.

My buddy years ago had one in his black epiphone.
It sounded pretty darn good actually but feedback city.
He had to play with his back facing and a little distance between him and the amp or it started squealing. Aside from that a good little pickup, again I'm referring to the older dirty fingers.Peace, Love and Happieness and all that stuff...
"Anyone who tries to fling crap my way better have a really good crap flinger."
I personally do not care how it was built as long as it is a good playing/sounding instrument.
Yes, there's a bee in the pudding.
