Cool or dude what are you thinking?

Ok,first let me say that i`m kind of a WWI buff mainly the planes and especially the Red Baron. I came up with this idea for my Carvin guitar since it`s Red.......

This is just a paper drawing i did and cut out and placed on the guitar to take a couple of pics. I wouldn`t want anything permanent maybe just a decal like the ones that go on automobile windows so i can take it off if i wanted. I kind of like it but maybe i`m just bored today *lol* What do you think?

i like it, but i would place it equal distance from the edge of the body and the back of the bridge.

i'm an airplane buff myself, but i'm more into fighter jets. <--- just look at my avatar.

also i would look into getting 5 really small french or english emblems to put along the bottom of the lower horn to show your and ACE.

I'm an aviation history buff and a pilot, too.

I think the cross would look better offset to an area below and behind the bridge, sort of just above the coil-tap switch.

If you're willing to do something more permanent, you could paint the all of the area behind the bridge white and then put the black cross in the middle of that. I think that would like really cool and definitely evoke the von Richthofen mystique.

Yeah thats how i just placed it. If i get a real decal i will definitely center it!

Today I just saw a CS Jackson Soloist urban camo paint job and the fret markers were iron crosses. Very cool indeed.

All cool ideas but i just wanted something simple not too crazy/involved that would cost alot of $! I`m gonna have the white stripe and the iron cross painted on and i`m just starting to search who can do this around my area, and for how much is gonna be the real question.

Spike beat me to the punch. I was gonna suggest some of those bullet hole stickers you see on cars, once in a while. That'd be cheap and easy to undo, as well.
