    Probably because the poles are already maxed and anymore of a slant would take the poles out of alignment with the strings.

      Very cool to see these coming back. Rather pricey for the limited NOS run but the production models are a bit more in line with today's high end builders.

      To this day, IMO I've never played another Floyd Rose equipped guitar that plays and sounds as good as these for hard rock and metal...not even close. I love my Charvel and Jackson guitars but they don't hold a candle to my Rands.

                    I talked to them.. the limited run NOS parts guitars will be about $7500.. the Abstracts that Roman has been building are copies of these with slightly different neck construction.
