Got an LP-ish thing from Rondo

I don't doubt for a second that it is mahogany. I have two SX guitars, and both are solid mahogany, as stated on the site. Sure, it's obviously one of the cheaper species of mahogany, but still pretty good.

Well my "recording gear" consists of the built-in mic on my laptop, so the quality on this is only slightly less shitty than the youtube vid, but I made a recording with the new pickups.

I tried to play a lot of the same shit that's in the vid to make some kind of comparison possible. Unfortunately both recordings sound much worse than the in-person sound. I guess my next purchase will be a mic and preamp...
