ok i have been had. shocking. i've never really been an ibanez fan, but couldn't refuse this offer, and it was definately worth it. i traded it straight for my rr24 as i was in need of something alot more versatile and strat-ish. thanks to James (Mazrim) - big props there - great guy lovely family
Anyway, it still has the original edge treme, comes with a dimarzio evolution in the bridge, a kent armstrong rails in the middle, and another dimarzio in the neck ithink he said it was an x2n or a tonezone i'm not sure. its kinda fat but thin at the same time..slightly strat-ish. the evolution is pretty hi gain but very focused at the same time, there is a lot of clarity which is good, and in fact certain riffs that have normally sounded a bit messy now sound great and very focused. the body is near mint and a really awesome neon yellow virtually, officially its desert yellow, but i tell ya its a bloody trippy desert the neck has MOJO, serious mojo... whoever has owned it before has obviously sweated alot and corroded the lacquer off, but you can't feel the dirt, just see it. the neck plays like butter. nice and wide like my old chgarvel; model series but flatter and the back, and that rally seems to have made a noticeable difference to me, it suits my hand better, and all of a sudden my legato really great. string tension feels better than my floyded guitars that i've had over the years. floyded models have never really as nice for me.
i may clean the fretboard up i don't know, i sorta like the reliced look, but maybe it doesn't quite go when the body is pristine...
