If there's a 9 directly after the F in the serial number, that's an 89'.

Also, the price of these have been going up very sharply as of late. I usually see them in the $500-750 range. That one there having the black/non matching headstock is a tad less desirable than the matching headstock ones, but is still worth considerably more than $200.

Yep, me. As I get older I find the skinny thin necks are way to uncomfortable for me. The wide thin ones like Jackson I can handle, it's the skinny thin Wizard that bothers me.

I like the Wizard II and the Viper neck. But those don't come on many models.

wow i'm suprised how many times this thread has crept back up to the top!! Well yes i love it still very comfortable with it. Still considering replacing the middle hum with a single but nothing more. Still playsand sounds great! The serial exact is f918184 so this webms its actually an 89 now? Can anyone else confirm that?

Sorry, my 570 is a '91. I got them mixed up.

'88 is even better though. Well, in terms of desirability anyway. Please dont put any silly coloured pots on it I had to take some off when I bought it. Horrible lime green foam ones.
