    My New 355

    I played this guitar and refused to give it back.
    Used it on Saturday's gig through the full stack and it SMOKED-
    controlled feedback on ANY note....

    very cool!!!! i dig the vista-lite drums too!!
    GEAR:

    some guitars...WITH STRINGS!!!! most of them have those sticks like on guitar hero....AWESOME!!!!

    some amps...they have some glowing bottle like things in them...i think my amps do that modelling thing....COOL, huh?!?!?!

    and finally....

    i have those little plastic "chips" used to hit the strings...WHOA!!!!

      Awesome! Did you get to play with the Varitone? I find it very useful in dialing in some really cool sounds. Congrats, the 355 is one great guitar!

            Is it? Looks like there is a pot on there. I can't tell from the pictures. (too far away) To my knowledge, ES-355's came with a Varitone whether they were Stereo or Mono. This was for most years, unless specially ordered without it. My new 355 (2008) has a Varitone, but is Mono.

              I've have a 63 and it dosn't have a varitone & is mono.

                  If the guitar in the picture had a varitone you'ld see it because of the gold badge under the knob.
