Advantages of a Neck Thru guitar?

But playing a vintage bolt on San dimas Strat head. Makes ya cooler than playin a neck thru. so
I find all being equal. Bolt ons tend to be a bit brighter do to the way th eneck is monuted. Neck throughs do tend to be a bit warmer. And a bit more tonefull. Mainly because all the factors involving the strigns and the pups are in on long piece of wood. It creates a more consistant resonance which isnt changed by the screws or a change in wood type. This can be debated for years. Just like which came first the chicken or the egg. But this is mearly my experiance and take on the matter.

Neck thru or bolt on does not make a difference. If you want great tone and sustain, you need Lee Garver to put one of his killer fretboard veneers on your axe. Tone and mojo for days.

Did Charvel ever make USA neckthru`s? Sure i`ve seen the import neck thru`s, and tons of USA bolt ons, but with the exception of a couple of customs i don`t recall seeing any neck thru production models.

If not, why`d they only offer neck thru on imports?
